Technically no. But the stand is designed for eggless chickens, and our staff may ask gentle qualifying questions. If you already have eggs, consider bringing a friend who doesnt.
Roosters are welcome. Clive is a rooster. We do not require you to lay an egg to prove you appreciate one. Just come in and pick your selection.
Premium sunflower seeds are accepted at a 3-to-1 grain rate. High-quality mealworms can be negotiated at the counter. We do not accept eggs as payment — that would be circular.
Every egg is marked with the collection date. We also perform a water-float freshness check on incoming batches — if it floats, it does not make the stand. Period.
For orders over 24 eggs, yes. We have a pair of trusted carrier pigeons (yes, pigeons — they owe us) who handle deliveries within a 3-mile radius. Same-day if ordered before 8am.
